The microsite confirms a new design for the smartphone along with some features. The new design means that the smartphone can come in new colour options. According to the details on the website, Realme 5i will come with a 5,000mAh battery, a quad rear camera setup (primary lens, ultra wide-angle lens, portrait lens, and macro lens), a 6.5-inch mini-drop display, and a ‘powerful Snapdragon processor’.

Reports suggest that the phone could come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and up to 4GB of RAM. It should run ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie. The quad-camera setup can consist of a 12-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Realme 5i will be the fourth smartphone in the Realme 5 series with the company previously launching Realme 5, Realme 5s and the Realme 5 Pro. With this series, Realme offered a quad cam setup for less than Rs 10,000 for the first time.
